'Microbotanicals'

These composite images of botanical specimens were captured with camera and microscope. Each composite is made up of hundreds of photographs combined together to create a high resolution image which can be made into a large format print.

'Spectral Evidence'

These images were made underwater using only infrared light. Because we cannot see infrared wavelengths making these photographs was an intuitive exploration of an alternate reality revealed by the invisible light.

'Hornwort'

This series is a study of a freshwater plant from the Hornwort family (Cerataphyllum demersum) found in a small kettle pond in Truro on Cape Cod. Taken while freediving with my camera these images profile the lush underwater landscape using only natural ambient light.

'The Light and the Quicksilver Sea'

This body of work, captured over four years on the shores of Truro, is a study of the unique light that has inspired artists for over a century on outer Cape Cod. The images have been captured in the twilight moments after sunset using long exposures that draw the light across the water

'Underwaterlilies'

This series of underwater images was captured in a small kettle pond in Truro, on Cape Cod using a digital single lens reflex camera in a plexiglass housing. The series presents water lilies and their reflections from a non-traditional perspective beneath the surface.

'The Unseen Light'

These images were captured in the tidal marshes of the Cape Cod National Seashore with an infrared-converted camera. These compositions, distorted by wind and water, are filled with imagery that can vary with each viewer's own unique perspective.
